The Thomson Reuters 28th Annual CS Users' Conference Kicks Off

No Shortage of Knowledge Sharing at this Year's Conference

The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters announced today the kick-off of the 28th annual CS Users’ Conference—one of the longest running professional conferences in the industry. Hosted at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, the conference drew more than 800 participants from across the country.

“Our Users’ Conference has evolved into a mainstay event. Users come from all over the country to share their knowledge with colleagues and absorb the information presented. The interaction and excitement among participants is exceptionally high, and many have expressed that they can’t wait to implement what they’ve learned in their firms,” said Teresa Mackintosh, CPA.CITP, Senior Vice President, Professional Software & Services, Tax & Accounting, Thomson Reuters.

“Our main objective is to help our users be more efficient so, in turn, they can better serve their clients. Our workshops offer a wealth of information on product and system functionality, while roundtable discussions, keynotes, and day-to-day interaction provide vision on how to apply process innovations in their firms to increase efficiencies,” stated Jon Baron, President, Professional Software & Services, Tax & Accounting, Thomson Reuters.

The CS Users’ Conference offers more than 60 workshops that cover hands-on software training, product overviews, and sessions on specialized topics. Other workshops focus on how to put advanced technology to work in firms to achieve a completely integrated workflow process—including advanced digital dashboards, private client portals, and powerful project and client management functionality. The conference also offers popular and informative roundtable discussions and keynote presentations by Jon Baron; Sandra Wiley, COO and Senior Consultant, Boomer Consulting, Inc.; and T. Scott Gross, motivational speaker and management training consultant.

The CS Users’ Conference runs from November 5–8, 2008, in Grapevine, Texas. For more information on the conference, please visit our website at CS.ThomsonReuters.com/uc/registration.
